The EVR Summit Centre in Fernie is close to breaking ground.

Fernie has always had a vibrant culture with kids who play everything.

What it hasn't had is indoor space.

For soccer, that's the whole ballgame. Long winters, short seasons, months of development that the super talented kids lose that players in bigger centres never do.

This changes that.

Huge credit to the Elk Valley Field House Society, a group of volunteers who've pushed this since 2024, and to the EVR for supporting the project.

We had such a great group in Fernie last year, and we're excited to return July 27–31.
Five mornings of quality training, small games, and a lot of fun — led by licensed coaches following Canada Soccer and UEFA grassroots development programs.
