The Prince Albert Police Service Major Crimes Unit (MCU) has arrested one man in relation to a shooting that occurred on June 4, 2025 in the 1900 block of 14th Street West.
Through their investigation, on July 23, 2025, MCU members alongside members of the Proactive Policing Unit (PPU) were able to arrest the 24-year-old male suspect in the 800 block of 15th Street East.
As a result of this investigation, 24-year-old Preston Bird has been charged with aggravated assault, breaching a conditional sentence order and numerous fi****ms related charges.
Preston Bird made his first court appearance Thursday morning.
