Powell River Family Place / Resource Program welcomes all families with young children. It is a child-friendly, comfortable and safe place where families with young children can:

meet and make new friends
gain a sense of community
find on-going support and assistance to raise happy, healthy children
take on leadership/teaching roles and parent-mentorship

Fantastic gloomy Thursday, folks! Today, we're throwing a party that's so good, you'll forget there's a storm outside, packed with laughter and neighbourly vibes. Scrumptious goodies will be handed out, and Literacy's got a fantastic surprise for the family. We're open from 10-2, so drop by and turn that soggy day into a warm fuzzy feeling.

Just a reminder next week Tuesday October 14th we are at the Lang Bay Fish Hatchery for an educational outdoor event. Please meet us out there in the parking lot at 11:00am. It’s very stroller friendly so please come and join in, rain or shine. Located roughly 18kms south of town on Highway 101.
