Even during a local state of emergency, these volunteers showed up at the Port Hawkesbury Food Bank this morning to pack boxes and get ready to open tomorrow. Our community is lucky to have them working to support our friends and neighbours.

We could use a little help from our amazing community!

If you’re able to donate, these are some of the items we’re currently in need of:

August Needs List
• Flour (2.5 kg bag or smaller)
• Sugar
• Tea bags
• Instant coffee
• Canned fruit
• Egg cartons (both 12s & 18s)

Every donation, big or small, makes a real difference for the families we serve. Thank you for continuing to support the Port Hawkesbury Food Bank and our community.

📍 Donations can be dropped off during our regular donation hours, or near the checkouts at Sobeys & Superstore

Thank you!

We need egg cartons! 🥚

The Port Hawkesbury Food Bank is running low on empty egg cartons, and we could really use your help!

If you have any clean, empty cartons (dozen size preferred), please drop them off in the donation bins at Atlantic Superstore Port Hawkesbury, Sobeys, or at the food bank on Monday mornings.

Thank you for supporting your community!

We're back for another year, and this year we're proud to be supporting the Port Hawkesbury Food Bank Society

The course is the original all-road Festival of the Strait route, before the trail sections were added. If you ran it back in the day, you know what you're in for. If you haven't tried it yet, now's your chance.

Timed event, open to runners, walkers, and strollers. Registration on site.

Know someone who'd love this? Tag them or give this a share. Every person who shows up makes a difference.
