Our 13U Rep team took part in the SCBA 13U Rep tournament in Tillsonburg this past weekend!

The team went 1–2 with hard fought losses to Caledonia and Aylmer and a WIN over Simcoe

They finished the tournament in 6th place overall 👏

A special congratulations to Hunter Wodham, Gerrit Hogeterp & Drew Breedyk, who were each recognized with Player of the Game honours! 🏆👏

Way to go, Sailors! ❤️

Port Dover Minor Baseball Coach Applications Are Now Open!

Do you have a passion for baseball and helping young athletes grow? Port Dover Minor Baseball is now accepting coach applications for the 2027 season!

📅 Application Deadline: August 18, 2026

To allow time for coach selection and player tryouts in September, all applications must be submitted by the deadline.

A current Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC) is required and must be submitted with your application.

The Port Dover Minor Baseball kids were wearing the same shipwheel hats we wore as kids this Canada Day. Complete with the DK. For Doug King. The man who spent years developing pitchers in this community and never asked for anything in return.
Most of those kids have no idea who he was. But we do.
Later that day we saw it come across social media. John Axford had donated $50,000 back to Port Dover Minor Baseball through the Jays Care Foundation.
John just received his induction into the Norfolk County Sports Hall of Recognition. Eleven seasons in the big leagues. The NL saves leader in 2011. One of the best closers Canada has ever produced.
And the first thing he did when he had something to give back was think of Port Dover.
That is what this town does. It stays with you.
It stayed with John.
