A farrier tool bag, carry horsehoes as well. Made several requests to identify over the years.
A farrier looked after horses, but lacked the Blacksmith ability. They would have as well a portable furnace
Any mounted unit would have a Farrier.

Made military clothing in the Great War, in the Second War they company made flying uniforms for the RCAF.
