🍎 It’s almost Apple Day! 🍎

Our youth are getting ready to head out into the community for one of our annual fundraisers!

Apple Day helps make so many of our Scouting adventures possible throughout the year — from camps and outdoor adventures to activities, supplies, and new experiences for our youth. 🏕️🧭💚

If you see our Scouts out and about, come say hello and help support 2nd Peterborough St. Luke’s Scout Group. Every donation, big or small, makes a difference — and our youth are always pretty excited to hand out those apples! 🍎😊

Please share this post and help us spread the word!

Thank you, Peterborough, for continuing to support local Scouting! 💚

🧭 Adventure was calling—and our Cubs answered!

This week, the Cubs put their navigation skills to the test using compasses, maps and landmarks as they explored outdoors together. There was plenty of teamwork, problem-solving and laughter along the way—and even a little playground fun before the sun went down! 🌅🔦

A wonderful evening of learning by doing and making memories together. 💚

Star Wars-themed Beaveree/Cuboree weekend! ⭐⚜️

What an incredible adventure! From exciting activities and outdoor fun to making new friends and creating lasting memories, our Beavers and Cubs had an absolute blast. The Star Wars theme added an extra layer of excitement, and it was amazing to see the youth fully embrace the experience.

Events like this don't happen without countless hours of planning, organizing, and hard work behind the scenes. We are incredibly grateful for everything that went into making the weekend such a success. 👏

Thank you, David, for helping create a weekend filled with fun, laughter, adventure, and a little bit of galactic magic. ⭐ The stories we heard on the way home and the smiles on our youth's faces said it all! 😊

May the Force be with you, and thank you for everything you do for Scouting! ⚜️⭐

📸 ❤️ Memory Monday ❤️ 📸

One of the greatest gifts of Scouting is the memories we create along the way.

From campfires and hikes to crafts, games, community service projects, and outdoor adventures, every year is filled with moments that make us smile long after the activity is over.

As we look back on another amazing Scouting year, we're grateful for every laugh, every challenge overcome, every new friendship, and every adventure shared.

🌲🏕️ What is your favourite Scouting memory?

Was it a campfire song?
A Beaveree or Cuboree?
A special badge you earned?
A new friend you made?

Share your favourite Scouting memory in the comments—we'd love to hear it! 👇

❤️ Scout Spirit Sunday ❤️

One of the best parts of Scouting isn't the badges, campfires, or adventures—it's the people.

This year we've watched our youth try new things, overcome challenges, make new friends, and show kindness to one another. Whether it's helping a fellow Scout, encouraging a teammate, or lending a hand without being asked, these moments are what Scouting is all about.

🌟 A Scout is Helpful. 🌟 A Scout is Respectful. 🌟 A Scout is Kind.

As we head into summer, we're incredibly proud of every youth, volunteer, and family who helps make 2nd Peterborough Scouts such a wonderful community.

What was your favourite Scouting memory from this year? Share it in the comments! 👇
