Have a young maker at home? Craft Club is returning this fall!

Open to kids in Grades 1–3, this four-session after-school program is all about getting creative, trying different hands-on activities, and having fun together.

Craft Club is free, with registration covering all four sessions.

Calling all young builders! LEGO Club is back this fall.

Kids in Grades 1–3 can build, create, and connect through seven after-school sessions at the Penhold Multiplex. From following sets to dreaming up their own creations, there’s lots of room for imagination.

September 1 marks 121 years since our province was established and also kicks off Culture Days, a month-long celebration of arts, culture, heritage and community.

Just a reminder that school drop-off and pick-up times are very busy at our schools and the Protective Services team would like to remind everyone that parking is prohibited within 4.5m (15') of crosswalks and corner.
Let's all work together to make school drop-off and pick-up safe for everyone by not parking near or on crosswalks and remembering school zones are now back in effect.

School Bus Safety Reminder: Know the Danger Zone!
The Danger Zone is the area where a bus driver has limited or no visibility.

At the bus stop, teach your child to:
• Take 5 steps back from the road when the bus is stopping – If they can touch the bus, they’re too close.
• Wait for the bus to come to a full stop before they walk towards it.
• Stay at least 5 steps away from the front, sides, and back of the bus.
• Pay attention to what’s going on around them.
• Not use mobile devices or other distracting things until they’re a safe distance from the road.
• If they drop something near the bus, never pick it up without letting their bus driver know first.
