Today we had the privilege of celebrating our friend and longtime volunteer, Mark Brown.

Mark is not only retiring from a distinguished military career, but he is also preparing for a new chapter as he moves to Smiths Falls. During a special gathering at The Grind, Mark was presented with his retirement certificates in recognition of his years of dedicated service.

Mark has been a faithful volunteer, a friend to many, and a valued part of The Grind family. His kindness, commitment, and willingness to serve others have made a lasting impact on our community.

Congratulations, Mark, on your retirement and thank you for all you have done. You will be greatly missed, and we wish you God’s richest blessings in the years ahead.

🎨 What a busy and creative day at our Art Drop-In! 🎨

We were blessed to see so many beautiful paintings and drawings created today. From colorful landscapes and lighthouses to vibrant birds, flowers, and abstract artwork, each piece reflected the unique talents and creativity of our participants.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us. Art has a wonderful way of bringing people together, encouraging conversation, building confidence, and creating community.

We are grateful for the laughter, fellowship, and creativity shared around the table today. We can’t wait to see what our artists create next!
