Really sad news:
Yesterday all my bottle babies passed away. 😢
To be honest, I was worried about them from the start, since mom didn’t make it because of her infected uterus. It seemed unlikely that she wouldn’t have passed on the infection to the babies, but they were so strong, and did so well for the first ten days that I thought I was wrong. Sadly, on Tuesday they wouldn’t drink much milk, and I could feel their strength fading. When I got up in the night to feed them, one was already gone and by morning they wouldn’t drink milk and were crying, and couldn’t settle. I figured they were in pain, and I couldn’t help them, and couldn’t bear to sit and watch them fade away in agony, so I took them to the vet and had them euthanized. RIP my poor babies. At least we tried.

These two beauties are about 11 weeks old. They got spayed and vaccinated today, and will be ready for adoption early next week. Very friendly and bonded, so perfect home would be together, but it’s not a must.
