Lion Frank and Dandy had the pleasure of dropping by to visit the 1st Paradise Scouting Group. Paradise Lions Club has been their sponsor for several years and presented a cheque for $500. The money will help offset their activities and in turn helps the community by building the spirit of service in our youth. We hope someday to see the Scouts become adult members of the Paradise Lions Club.

What a festive weekend we had! It started by helping out the Town of Paradise with Breakfast With Santa on Saturday. Today we helped out and participated in the Paradise Christmas Parade. I think we had as much fun as the kids at the festivities. But to top it off, we got our picture taken with the jolly man himself, Santa! Thank you to Paul Dinn for some of the great pictures.

Finally, a big thank you to those that donated food during the parade. If you forgot, no need to worry. Along with the Kin Club of Paradise, we will hosting a food drive next Saturday morning at the Double Ice Complex, starting 10am. We hope to see you all there.
