🏳️‍⚧️2nd Annual Trans March and Vigil🏳️‍⚧️

We invite you to join us as we march, mourn, celebrate, and uplift our Trans, Two Spirit, and Nonbinary kin. Together, we walk not only in remembrance of those we’ve lost, but in fierce love for those still with us — and in hope for generations to come.

📍 We’ll gather at the Owen Sound Farmer's Market, then walk together around City Hall — a visible act of unity and resistance.

🔥 Our sacred fire will burn in honour of our loved ones, with songs shared by our Two Spirit community.

🎤 The mic will be open for anyone who wishes to speak, share a memory, or raise their voice for our collective strength.

We have signs ready — all you need to bring is yourself. Show up as you are, with your heart open. Let’s stand together in care, courage, and community.

Join us tomorrow for a paddle around the waters at Berford Lake.

If you haven't been before, Berford is a lovely inland lake, with gradual shorelines, and sand bars, easy launching for any kayak or canoes. It's also super quiet making it an optimal space for q***r safety.

Whether you choose to swim, float or paddle, come on out and spend a relaxing afternoon amongst community. Every body is a beach body.

Yesterday was a lovely Rainbow Hike with along Halfway Log Dump

Thanks to all the wonderful folxs who came on out to enjoy a beautiful day out in nature with us.

Thanks to the great folxs with and for helping us learn about natural occurrences of q***rness in nature and the colonial concepts science has been rooted in and its influence on previous understandings of nature. By decolonizing our knowledge we remind ourselves daily how beautiful nature is and what teachings it has to offer.
