🎬 Movie Night is TODAY! 🍿

We’re so excited to see everyone tonight at PRC for a free evening of food, creativity, and family fun!

Join us in the PRC backyard:

🍕 5:30 p.m. – Complimentary pizza dinner
🌱 6:00–7:00 p.m. – Flowerpot decorating and planting activity
🎬 8:00–10:00 p.m. – Family movie under the stars

Bring a blanket or lawn chair, get comfortable, and enjoy the movie with some popcorn!

A quick reminder that our regular PRC playgroups will be closed on Friday, August 21 and Saturday, August 22 as we celebrate PRC’s 50th anniversary!

Is your child getting ready for Kindergarten? 🎒✨

Kindergarten readiness is about so much more than knowing letters and numbers. Join us for Beyond ABCs: Helping Your Child Thrive in Kindergarten, a free virtual workshop for parents and caregivers.

We’ll explore the social, emotional, and practical skills that help children build confidence, independence, and a love of learning, along with simple, play-based ideas you can use at home to support the transition to Kindergarten.

You’ll also be among the first to learn about the Parent Resource Centre’s brand-new Kindergarten Readiness Pathway and the programs coming this fall to support children and families on their Kindergarten journey.

🚒🐴 Special guests are joining our Saturday celebration!

Come meet the Ottawa Police Mounted Unit and Ottawa Fire Services on Saturday, August 22!

Families will have the chance to see the horses and fire truck up close and learn more about their work in our community.
