And the hits just keep on coming as “2026 Metcalfe Live Music in the Park Series” welcomes Thompson Live on Thurs Aug 20th
between 6:00pm – 8:00pm.

Osgoode resident Vince Thompson has been performing in various groups and as a solo artist for over 40 years. Presently his daughter Ange, sons Mick and Pat, as well as daughter-in-law Amanda (Nixon) have joined him to take you on a musical journey featuring songs of classic rock, rhythm and blues, and a little country too! They’ll share their version of hits from Elvis Presley and Bruce Springsteen to the Rolling Stones and Johnny Cash that you’re sure to enjoy. Thompson Live has provided entertainment at various events like Osgoode Porchfest and at the Osgoode Legion. You will surely be entertained by this home-grown family talent as they share their love of music.

Join us at Victoria Park in Metcalfe for some Free Live Music.

Bring your lawn chairs, don’t forget the mosquito repellent, and enjoy an evening of music in an outdoor setting at the heart of the Village.

Family, friends and visitors to Metcalfe gathered once again on Thurs. in Victoria Park to take in another evening of free live entertainment.

Under a clear blue sky and with a warm summer breeze in the air Metcalfe's '2026 Music in the Park Series' welcomed The Low Keys Duo to perform and perform they did. Cover songs from the past and present as well as their own originals made for a special night of listening pleasure.

Summer is in full swing and there’s no better way to enjoy a warm summer evening than to drop down to Victoria Park in Metcalfe for some FREE Live Music Entertainment.

The Low Keys Duo

The Low Keys are a bass and keyboard duo, performing
favorite tunes, old and new. Dave Tettmar (Vocals/Keys), and Laura Greenberg (Bass/Vocals), deliver an energetic and interactive show. Formed in 2021, The Low Keys play blues, rock, pop, soul and more; from the Beatles, to CCR, to Oasis. On Keys and vocals, Dave, originally from the UK, is an award-winning musician with over 20 years’ experience touring internationally. Laura, two-time winner of the Maple Blues Award for Bassist of the Year, plays bass and adds harmonies.

There are plenty of options in the Village for dine-in or takeout so why not enjoy your dinner at the park. Arrive early and make it an evening of food, fun, family and friends.

A crowd of over 200 residents of Metcalfe and the surrounding area gathered at Victoria Park on Thurs. evening to enjoy a wonderful performance put on by The Gallaghers as part of the '2026 Music in the Park Series'

A warm summer evening in Rural Ottawa listening to live entertainment in an outdoor setting with family and friends or just strolling by to take in a show by yourself. Doesn't get much better than that.

📣Need volunteer hours before school starts? We've got you covered!

ROSSS is looking for student volunteers to join us for our Osgoode Community Blitz on Wednesday, August 12!

Spend the day outdoors, get some fresh air, and make a difference by walking door-to-door throughout the Village of Osgoode to deliver ROSSS information packages to residents.

💚 Here's what you can expect:
🚶 Walk through neighbourhoods in Osgoode with fellow volunteers
📬 Hang information packages on residents' doors (no knocking required)
⏰ Earn a guaranteed 6 volunteer hours
📍 Meet at the Osgoode Youth Association (OYA)
🌭 Enjoy a free lunch with hotdogs, chips, freezies, and water

Your help will ensure local seniors and adults with disabilities know about the programs and services available to support them.

The Gallaghers

The Gallaghers (thegallaghers.ca) are a family music group who have been playing together since Alan and Debbie met on their first day of college. Over the years as the children came, the band expanded and now features 3 generations on stage with the grandchildren helping out where they can. You will see them all or just some of them, depending on other commitments. The Gallaghers have played at fairs, community events, fundraisers, and rodeos, mostly in Eastern Ontario, but have travelled to the northern US and Scotland sharing their unique family-friendly music at various venues. Their repertoire includes country, gospel, Celtic, and folk. Their blend of family-friendly, country, faith-filled shows featuring a blend of familiar and original music is suitable for audiences of all ages and they invite your family to join them for an evening of fun and laughter.

Bring your lawn chairs, invite your family and friends (don’t forget the mosquito repellent) and enjoy some fabulous live entertainment in the heart of the Village.

With so many food options available for dine-in or take-out in the Village why not make it dinner and a concert.

On most Thursdays you’ll find BH Coffee Roasting, Loughlin’s Country Store and the Metcalfe & District Lions Club on hand offering beverages, tasty treats and snacks. The Metcalfe Lions have a box at their table for anyone who wants to donate old glasses, glass lenses or hearing aids to help others with vision and hearing needs.

Nancy’s Pics and Petals will also be on hand this week displaying some of her beautiful arrangements.

On Thurs. evening Metcalfe welcomed Birds of a Feather to perform for the very first time as part of the 'Metcalfe Music in the Park Summer Series' at Victoria Park in the heart of the Village.

On a warm summer evening under clear blue skies the duo responded by providing a 2 hour set of classics, as well as original tunes, to a crowd of just under 150 residents from Metcalfe and surrounding Villages.

Rural Ottawa at it's finest.

Stay tuned as the announcement on who will be performing next Thurs. Aug 6th will be posted in a few days.

Come enjoy what has quickly become a summer tradition in Metcalfe.
