With Beef-A-Rama so soon it’s time we start announcing our judges, starting with our open show judge Fawn Jackson!

Fawn is a leader in Canadian agriculture with extensive experience in policy, trade, research, and industry development. Throughout her career, she has worked on behalf of farmers, serving on the executive teams of both the Canadian Cattle Association (CCA) and Dairy Farmers of Canada (DFC).

Fawn is also involved in her family’s farming operation, High Bluff Stock Farm, a Simmental and Charolais purebred cattle and grain operation. She has judged cattle shows across Canada, including Canadian Western Agribition, Farm Fair, Expo Beef and numerous youth shows across the nation.

Passionate about mentorship, Fawn currently serves on the boards of Ducks Unlimited Canada and 4-H Canada. She holds a BSc in Natural Resource and Agricultural Economics from the University of Alberta and a Master of International Agriculture from Oklahoma State University.

Fawn was the recent recipient of the King Charles Medal for her contributions to youth in agriculture for her contributions to 4-H and role in setting up the Cattlemen’s young leaders program and Young Cattlemen’s Council.
