COVID precautions: Volunteers must abide by all relevant local and provincial COVID-related restrictions and protocols while engaged in Safe Wings Ottawa activities. These may include but are not limited to rules regarding mask-wearing, physical distancing, gatherings, and close contacts. Please do not take any unnecessary risks. PLEASE NOTE: We are an entirely volunteer-run organization with no paid regular drivers or rescuers. When you call about a bird in need of help and you are willing to help us by containing and and transporting the bird if needed, it goes a long way in helping the birds receive the care they need.
