Information sessions on the Ontario Enhanced New Housing Rebate (ENHR)

Join us for an information session on the Ontario Enhanced New Housing Rebate (ENHR) to learn about eligibility requirements, the application process, key considerations and available resources. You’ll also have an opportunity to ask questions directly to CRA subject matter experts.

These sessions are for organizations and professionals who support current and prospective home buyers, including home builders and developers, real estate and mortgage professionals, and consumer, community and housing organizations.

It's going to be winter soon enough so just in case...

Consumer product recall: HotHands Rechargeable Hand Warmers recalled due to burn hazard

This recall involves HotHands Rechargeable Hand Warmers. The white with orange hand warmers were sold in packs of two warmers that can be magnetically joined together and include a charging cable. The hand warmers have a USB-C port to charge the built-in lithium-ion batteries in each unit. The adjustable-heat hand warmers have LED indicator lights on the hard plastic shell and come with a silicone lanyard. Model number “H163650” and the batch number are on the hand warmer’s underside, and the white HotHands logo is on the top and on the product packaging.

September 30th marks National Day for Truth and Reconciliation and Orange Shirt Day – Every Child Matters

Orange Shirt Day – Every Child Matters began in Williams Lake, British Columbia, on September 30, 2013. Established to honour Residential School Survivors, their families, and those who never returned home, it serves as a powerful reminder of the lasting impacts of the Residential School system. What began as a grassroots initiative has since evolved into a nationally recognized movement, with individuals, organizations, and communities across Canada participating in acts of remembrance, reflection, and reconciliation each year.

A day to honor and a call to act. Let us commit to learning the true history of our country and supporting healing in our communities.
