Time for real change! The proposed, the Opioid Accountability and Prevention Act. We are advocating for new legislation that will honour those lost and prevent further unnecessary and tragic deaths!

Non-fatal opioid overdose calls are on the rise in four Ontario cities — nearly tripling in Hamilton in the first five months of 2026. Researchers and social workers suggest the toxic drug supply and the closure of supervised consumption sites in the past two years may be factors.

📢 More than $139M worth of illegal drugs seized, twenty-one individuals charged with 102 offences combined.

This intelligence-led joint forces investigation focused on disrupting the importation and trafficking of illegal drugs and fi****ms with a nexus to the international border and resulting in the seizure of nearly 1.7 tonnes of illegal drugs, including suspected co***ne, m**hamphetamine and o***m.

The investigation revealed the use of legitimate commercial supply chains to facilitate the cross-border trafficking of illegal drugs into Canada.

On June 25, 2026, 18 search warrants were executed by:
• OPP Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau
• Windsor Police Service (WPS)
• WPS Emergency Services Unit
• OPP Tactics and Rescue Unit
• OPP Emergency Response Team
• OPP Canine Unit
• OPP Community Street Crime Unit
• Canada Border Services Agency
• Toronto Police Service (TPS)
• Peel Regional Police (PRP)
• PRP Tactical and Rescue Unit
• London Police Service Emergency Response Unit
• Chatham-Kent Police Service Emergency Response Team
• Royal Canadian Mounted Police Canine

Four additional search warrants were executed on Tuesday, July 14, and Monday, July 20.

Throughout the investigation and as a result of the search warrants, the following items were seized with approximate quantities:
• 973 kg suspected co***ne
• 660 kg suspected m**hamphetamine
• 49 kg suspected o***m
• 230 oxycodone tablets (5mg)
• 17 fi****ms, including an anti-tank r***e
• am******on
• prohibited devices and weapons
• CA$80,000
• US$10,000
• one vehicle as offence-related property
• high-end jewellery
• money counters
• 43 cell phones, six laptops

Twenty-one individuals have been charged with 102 offences combined. Nineteen of the accused were arrested and two remain outstanding. Arrest warrants have been issued.

🚨 Massive Drug Bust Shakes Manitoba & Northwestern Ontario 🇨🇦

A major two-year police investigation has led to the largest drug seizure in Manitoba history. Authorities arrested 33 people and laid 174 charges tied to a large trafficking network allegedly connected to organized crime groups including the Hells Angels, Wolfpack Alliance, and Mexican cartels.

Police seized:
▪️ $37.2 million in drugs
▪️ 339 kg of m**h
▪️ 175 kg of co***ne
▪️ 11.25 kg of fentanyl
▪️ 14 fi****ms
▪️ $825,000 cash
▪️ 1.35 million illegal ci******es

The investigation involved police services across Manitoba, Northwestern Ontario, and Alberta, including OPP units in Kenora, Dryden, and Fort Frances.

Authorities say the operation disrupted a major drug supply chain affecting communities across Canada. 🚔
