Kadampa Meditation Centre Ottawa is a member of the New Kadampa Tradition–International Kadampa Buddhist Union. We are located in central Ottawa on Somerset Street West. Established in 1996 under the direction of Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, our Centre has a beautiful meditation room, a small bookstore and gift shop and a quiet reading room.

Inner Sunshine ~ How to Live a Happy Life
a Half-day Meditation Course
Saturday July 18
10am - 1pm

This Saturday, July 18th, we’re opening our doors for a half-day meditation course called "Inner Sunshine ~ How to Live a Happy Life".

If you’ve been looking for practical ways to navigate modern stress and find more joy in daily life, this course may be just what you've been looking for.

In this half-day course, we'll learn how we can create happiness from the inside out, rather than relying upon our ever-changing external conditions that give us no stability and no consistent source of happiness. Through meditation we can create a more reliable source of happiness and inner peace from within our own mind.

This half-day course is taught by Ananda Kelly, who shares Buddha's teachings in a down-to-earth, clear, and encouraging way.

Whether you are completely new to meditation or looking to deepen your practice, you’ll find a supportive, welcoming environment here.

When: Saturday, July 18, from 10:00 am - 1:00 pm
Where: KMC Ottawa (879 Somerset Street West, near Preston St.)
Cost: $25 (Register online or at the door)

Join us for a refreshment break during the class with time to relax, enjoy a coffee or tea, and connect with others.
