My Sacred Contract
I am creating my sacred contract by setting boundaries with myself, my biological family, my friends, my media presence as a public person on both national and international stages, and with my community in Afghanistan. These boundaries also extend to my business, my local NGO, and my charity in Canada.
All my life, I have allowed people to walk into my sacred space without objection. I let them come in and take up my mental, emotional, and physical space. Every time I discovered something divine within myself, a moment of elevation, wisdom, or spiritual greatness, someone would appear and take it. I offered freely but never left anything for myself.
This has left me financially broken, emotionally drained, and in relationships, lonely. I now understand that I am a giver, I love to share and help others because I see divine greatness in everyone. I see immense potential in every human being, so I offer unconditional love with clarity, confidence, direction, and presence, always guiding others with resources for their divine potential.
But somewhere along the way, I lost myself in the noise. Now, I am being given another chance to rebuild the foundation of my organization, called Life.
I see myself as a tree once radiant, offering shade, fruit, and beauty to all who came near. My roots were grounded in unconditional love, and my branches reached out with abundance. People came, and they took as they pleased. They enjoyed my fruit, my shade, my wood for shelter and warmth, but they never offered me water or nourishment for my soul.
As I began to weaken and cry for help, they looked upon me and said, “This tree is of no use to us anymore.” They broke my branches, cut my stem, and set me on fire. They took everything, but they forgot one thing: my roots.
My roots were deep, strong, and protected by Mother Earth. When all seemed lost, I found myself beneath the ground, surrounded by darkness. But something extraordinary happened, I realized that even in darkness, light can be found.
I began to push upward, never giving up. I grew through the rocks, the stones, the hungry snakes and worms, trying to take what little I had left. Yet I kept going. And then, I felt it — the light.
I realized that the harder I pushed, the closer I came to the surface. And in that moment, I understood something profound:
I am the light of life. I am the light that creates.
This is the story of my awakening the moment I reclaimed my divine potential and began to own my power again.
