I (Natalie Raffington)- a Care Attendant (with 13 years experience) have decided to try and help change society's perspective on disability. In 2016- people with disabilities are still viewed as being non-social and non-sexual beings. I hope to try and overcome the stigma and taboo associated with these topics. I hope to educate through my blog posts and through sharing various inform

ation on my website. Please contact me if you have any ideas or perhaps an issue that I can try and help you overcome. Omacare stands for Open Minded Attendant Care- which is what I have always considered myself to be. I have the ability to put myself in other people's shoes and believe in equality and equal rights. I am currently doing public speaking and am available to teach about disability in the school system;
-elementary and high school level: a general overview of "What is a disability?"
-College level- PSW/Nursing/SSW program or other programs would be a more detailed program.
