The City is bringing back Giveaway Weekend on Saturday, May 30 and Sunday, May 31!

Help reduce waste and encourage reuse.

Giveaway Weekend is the perfect opportunity to clear out the things you no longer need, help a neighbour find something they’ll love, and keep perfectly good items out of the landfill.

Simply put your gently used items at the curb and let someone else give it a second life. Then take a stroll through your neighbourhood and see what hidden gems are out there waiting for you. You never know what you might find!

Ward Forum Notice

Kitchissippi Ward Forum April 23

The Kitchissippi Ward Forum is returning for a spring edition on Thursday April 23 at Bayview Yards (7 Bayview Station Road). Doors open at 6 pm with the presentation portion beginning at 7 pm. Our keynote speaker will be the City’s General Manager of Public Works, Alain Gonthier, who has agreed to take us through a rundown of the City’s Solid Waste Master Plan. In addition, representatives from OC Transpo, Safer Roads Ottawa, and the Ottawa Public Library’s Rosemount Branch will be on hand to answer any questions you might have. Local community associations and BIAs have also been invited to give brief updates. The evening will conclude with Councillor Leiper taking the stage in an open forum. Light refreshments will be provided, and there’s no registration required. We hope to see you there!

REGISTRATION will OPEN SATURDAY MARCH 28th @ 9:00 AM

We are pleased to be opening our registration for Spring Soccer & Softball/T-Ball
Go to https://fisherpark.powerupsports.com/
You can setup your Powerup account and child account before our registration opens. We offer T-Ball and Softball programs on Thursday nights.

Please note. You should register your child in the grade level they are currently attending. For example, if they are in grade 1 now, they should be registered in the SK/GR 1 split. The only exception is for JK where if you have a child who will be going into JK in the fall (ie 3yrs old but turning 4 in 2026), you can register them in the JK group.
