Happy New Year! Wishing you and your family a healthy and happy prosperous new year!
A huge thank you to all who have made Clarington warming center such a warm, happy and safe space for our guests.
You helped build this space and filled it with so many amazing items to bring smiles and warmth to many!
We have seen families who chose to not exchange gifts and instead donate to our guests. Families who came together to donate items that weee on our most wanted/needed list and I LOVED seeing the children help bring in the items! 🥰
They were curious and asked questions and we could see they were proud to bring these items In for our Duo friends.
St Elizabeth Catholic Elementary school presented us with approximately 60 care bags filled with items that brough many smiles to our friends. They lived the handwritten cards in their bags!
Meals from Jeff and Charlene dropped off after their community dinner last night filled up our fridge and their tummies!
Monetary donations we received have gone towards making sure we have juice and milk because we go through those like crazy! We also had a fun night for New Years Eve and had a pizza night because sometimes you just want to have fun! 🥳😁
You have all been so kind and so very helpful and Duo and our friends thank you all so very much! You are SUCH AN AMAZING SUPPORTIVE COMMUNITY !!
