Humber Orangeville Community Search and Rescue

Humber Orangeville Community Search and Rescue HOCSAR is a Dufferin based search and rescue team. Members are certified by OSARVA and are actively training to ensure they are emergency response ready!

Humber Orangeville Community Search and Rescue (HOCSAR) is a not-for-profit organization concerned with search, rescue, and emergency response in Dufferin County. We work hard training and practicing search, rescue and survival skills with the hope that in the event of an emergency, we can make a difference in saving lives. All HOCSAR volunteers are certified through the Ontario Search and Rescue

Volunteer Association (OSARVA). OSARVA is the governing body for all volunteer search and rescue teams in Ontario. All training and certification meets or exceeds Ontario Provincial Police requirements.
