Wednesday was our planting and harvesting morning with the pea shoots. We managed to harvest 19 bags! The whole crew went to the food bank in the afternoon to volunteer, and brought the pea shoots to stock up. We completed all the tasks on our list and managed to get some extra done too!

Today we learned about Lindy Hop day, a dance style created by Frankie Manning in the 1920’s. We learned the 6 count footwork to celebrate!
We took advantage of this beautiful weather and did a spring scavenger hunt at Alexandra Park.
We played a few rounds of Outsmarted before lunch, and practiced our art skills in the afternoon with drawing and sketching.

It was a Qigong and zen word search kind of morning here at BOSS!
In the afternoon, we took a trip to the Mill St. Library 📚 we found some new books to check out! We have a book on Ireland, a Dr. Seuss classic and a mystery book called Chocolate Cream Pie Murder.

Tuesday Pics: We started off our morning handing out Blues and Jazz Festival flyers around downtown Broadway 🎶
After all of our hard work this morning, we settled in for the afternoon with a spa day.
We had relaxing music, used face masks, eye masks, and painted nails!

Today we harvested 26 bags of pea shoots for the food bank! We planted 12 small trays and 8 large trays for our next round of harvesting.
After lunch, the whole crew went to the food bank to drop off the pea shoots and volunteer for the afternoon. We crossed off all the jobs that were on our list and then some!
