The BVRA met with the developer’s consulting team this Friday morning to express our disappointment with what is being proposed. Their plans for 2172 Wyecroft are not in line with Oakville’s Official Plan OR what the community wants and needs from a truly walkable community - housing designed for all stages of life, family friendly features like on-site green space, environmental features like green roofs, solar and stormwater capture. We strongly encourage you to come out to this Public Open House on Wednesday 9/11 5:30-8:30 and see their plans for yourself. 4 High Rise Towers ranging from 25 to 35 storeys is not compatible with the 5 to 20 storeys our Official Plan permits. Your voice counts!
