Today a cheque worth $1502* was presented to the amazing staff at the Recovery Support Centre at the Aberdeen Hospital, along with Michelle Ferris from the Aberdeen Health Foundation.

Thank you to each of you who made this possible!

Next year's event will push us over the $5000 mark. Can't wait to see what Poutine Fest 2027 will bring 💜💙

Sorry for the delay but the all the money raised is finally in. The grand total raised from the 2nd Annual Poutine Fest is $1326 for the Recovery Support Centre.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by any of the ten participating locations to get a poutine or two! And thank you to our ten participants locations, y'all are amazing!

The total this year is down but money is tight for a lot of people. This money raised just shows how much our community cares ❤️

I know a lot of you have probably wondering about a grand total raised from this year's Poutine Fest, and I am still working on it.

I am still waiting for five locations to give me their money. Once I get all the money I will post how much was raised for the Recovery Support Centre at the Aberdeen Hospital.

And that's a wrap for the most part for Poutine Fest 2026.

There are two locations who have graciously offered to continue Poutine Fest at their locations to see if they can raise a bit more money for the Recovery Support Centre at the Aberdeen Hospital. Thank you to Greco and Shawn's Burger Bus for doing that.

A big thank you to all the restaurants who participated this year. This wouldn't be possible without your support. Hope it brought some new faces to your establishments!
And a huge thank you to our Presenting Sponsors this year: Q97.9 and 94.1 The Breeze. The both of you were amazing! Couldn't thank you enough.

And last but certainly not least, thank you to all of you who bought a poutine this week! Together we are working together to make a change that is greatly needed in our community. Mental Health and Addiction Services are important and it's awesome seeing so many of you this week doing your part by buying a poutine.

Starting tomorrow (the 6th) stop by any of these ten locations to try their spin on a poutine, and $2 will be donated to the Recovery Support Centre at the Aberdeen Hospital.

This is all taking place during National Su***de Prevention Week. Mental health and addiction issues are the number one cause of Su***de. I lost my cousin who was more like a big brother to me seven years ago, so if I can save one family from that heartbreak it's all worth it. Needing help does not make you weak. You are not a burden. You are loved today and every day 💙💜
