Friends of Bon Echo Park An organization dedicated to preserving the natural and cultural heritage of Bon Echo Provincial Park.

The Friends of Bon Echo Park is an association of volunteers. We value the significance of teamwork and initiative in effecting change. We are empowered to serve in this active provincial park by our commitment to our natural and cultural heritage. We strive to act in a manner that is environmentally conscientious.

🎣 Ready to cast your first line?

Join the Learn to Fish Mobile Unit at Bon Echo Provincial Park for a a FREE, fun-filled experience for all ages!

This fun and engaging 2–hour free program that combines a 1-hour practical teaching session with 1-hour of supervised hands-on fishing.

A few key things to note:

🐟 Children under the age of 18 must be registered by and accompanied on site by an adult
🐟 All required fishing equipment will be provided
🐟 We recommend that participants bring appropriate sun protection including a sun hat
🐟 Participants are not required to have a fishing licence while taking the program but all participants must follow all Ontario fishing regulations
🐟 To participate in the Learn to Fish program, a day use and/or parking fees will apply
🐟 Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your Learn to Fish event to confirm your registration.

Catch Learn to Fish at Bon Echo Provincial Park from June 24-26, 2026.

Two sessions each day:
Morning: 10:00am-12:00pm
Afternoon: 1:00pm-3:00pm

Here at Friends of Bon Echo Park we truly hope each and every one of you gets to enjoy the park this year or in the future. We aim to better your experience at Bon Echo Provincial Park at Greystones Gift Shoppe and Café. Every item we have in store is chosen for a special reason. We love seeing our customers pick a souvenir, special treat, gift for a friend or loved one that will leave them with lasting memories that put a smile on their face. We LOVE this park and we want to share that gift with everyone. The true gift is getting to fully embrace this absolutely beautiful place on Earth, that is Bon Echo Provincial Park.
