BTS Blvd. has officially arrived in Yonge North York. 💜

Today, we joined our community partners and guests, for City of Toronto’s official unveiling of the new BTS Blvd. street signs along Yonge Street and the proclamation of BTS Weekend in Toronto.

With BTS bringing fans from across the city and beyond to North Toronto, this is an exciting opportunity to showcase Yonge North York’s vibrant local businesses.

The BTS Blvd. signs are a limited-time activation and will be in place for approximately one month, giving fans and visitors a unique opportunity to explore Yonge Street, find the signs and experience the neighbourhood during this special moment.

Beyond the BTS Blvd. signs, visitors can experience Korean culture throughout Yonge North York, from restaurants and cafés to beauty, wellness, retail and services, as well as the Toronto Korean Festival at Mel Lastman Square from August 21-23.

To help visitors turn their BTS experience into an opportunity to explore local, we’ve also launched Experience the Korean Vibe in Yonge North York at https://destinationyny.com/. The new digital experience features an interactive Korean Business Map, connecting visitors with Korean food, cafés, products, beauty, services and experiences across Yonge North York, alongside a BTS Blvd. Map identifying all 20 street sign locations along Yonge Street.

It’s a great example of how a major cultural moment can become an opportunity for placemaking, tourism and supporting local businesses.
