The wait is over! T&T Supermarket is officially open at RioCan Empress, bringing its largest location in Ontario to the heart of North York.

Spanning approximately 66,000 sq. ft., the new store offers T&T’s largest product selection yet, along with an in-store coffee spot, all conveniently located just steps from North York Centre Station.

Today’s Grand Opening celebrations kicked off with plenty of excitement, including lion dance, K-Pop, and Chinese dance performances.

Congratulations to North York Arts and Anishinaabe-Ojibwe artist Morgan Kagesheongai of Waskwane Designs on the unveiling of The Guiding Place, a new Indigenous-led mural at Gibson House Museum.⁠

We were honoured to stop by the unveiling ceremony and capture a few moments as the community gathered to welcome the artwork and reflect on its themes of history, connection, memory and our shared journey forward.⁠

Be sure to experience The Guiding Place for yourself, on display through 2028.⁠
