Today, our Fire Department Staff are proudly wearing pink to stand up against bullying and stand up for kindness, inclusion, and respect.
Pink Shirt Day began in Nova Scotia in 2007 when two students took a stand after a classmate was bullied for wearing pink. What started as a small act of compassion has grown into an international movement reminding us that bullying has no place in our schools, workplaces, homes, or online.
Together, we can create a community where everyone feels safe and supported.

Join us on January 4th from 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM at RONA Park & Tilford for our annual tree chip-up event!

Bring your Christmas tree by for chipping by donation and enjoy a BBQ and food while you’re there. A big thank you to RONA for once again generously providing the space, and to the City of North Vancouver for supplying the tree chipping services.

All proceeds support the North Vancouver City Firefighters Foundation, helping us give back and support our community. We look forward to seeing you there! 🌲🔥

In the spirit of giving ❤️🏒

The North Vancouver City Firefighters Foundation is proud to have helped raise $8,000 for the North Vancouver Minor Hockey Association, supporting kids and families as they reach their full potential.

With the help of our generous IAFF locals and amazing business donors, we hosted a successful and fun 4-on-4 hockey tournament—and it wouldn’t have been possible without you.

Come watch pumpkins take flight as our firefighters drop them five stories from the hose tower. Bring your family, friends, and your best Halloween spirit for a smashing good time!
