We are so pleased to welcome Safer Schools Together back to our community as we host the second annual Gang Prevention Symposium. In addition to education sessions from these internationally-renowned professionals, there is an opportunity for Battlefords community members to drop by the Don Ross Centre gym and connect with local service providers from 4-5pm on Thursday & Friday. Meet the agencies who provide vital support right here at home.

A Community Justice Worker helps bring people together to resolve conflict, heal harm, and strengthen the community 💬🤝

Through Justice Committees, a community-based justice approach is used to:
✔️ Support victims of crime
✔️ Address community concerns
✔️ Encourage accountability and understanding

✨ Facilitators ensure everyone has a voice, guide respectful conversations, and support the committee process.
👥 Committee Members identify local issues, share concerns, and work together to find solutions that truly matter.

💚 The goal?
Safer, stronger communities built on healing, accountability, and restorative justice — not punishment.
