Korean Cultural Heritage Society Celebrating BC's spirit of multiculturalism by showcasing the dynamics of Korean culture, heritage, and arts.

The Korean Cultural Heritage Society (KCHS) is a non-profit cultural appreciation organization made up of 15 Board of Directors and over 200 volunteers. Since its establishment in 2001, KCHS has advocated for multiculturalism and increased awareness of Korean culture in the Lower Mainland of British Columbia. lly declared Korea Day in 2003 to commemorate the 40th anniversary of Korea-Canada diplomatic relations. Each year the festival has grown and has since become the most anticipated and celebrated event for the Korean community in the Lower Mainland. Aside from thousands of visitors on the day of the festival, this annual event is a collaborative effort of many dedicated community organizations, artists, performers and volunteers.
