We’re getting ready for our Community Yard Sale Fundraiser on July 27, and we need your help!

Do you have gently used items around your home that you no longer need? Instead of tossing them, consider donating them to our fundraiser! Every donation helps raise money to support community programs and activities.

We’re looking for items such as:

🏀 Sports equipment
🎲 Games, décor, and more!

🇨🇦Happy Canada Day Everyone! Here’s what’s happening around town today to celebrate. 🇨🇦

🎆Fireworks at dusk at pine lake in front of Helliars Resort

🚤 Boat parade: registration 11am-1pm if not registered, meet at Sunset for judging then Thompsons at 5pm to announce winners

🍔 BBQ starts at noon at Sunset Cove

🎯 Corn hole at Sunset Cove

🚤 Scavenger hunt: pick up cards between 11am-1pm at government dock. Hand them in by 3:30pm at Sunset.

Tomorrow is the day! Canada Day Boat Parade and Scavenger Hunt! Please read the following information before heading out on the water.

🚤 Recommended Route

* The dotted line on the map shows the recommended route for both the scavenger hunt and the boat parade.
* You are welcome to complete the scavenger hunt while following this route before gathering for judging.

🏆 Boat Judging

* Time: 3:30 PM
* Location: Sunset Cove
* Please have your boat in position by 3:30 PM so our judges can view all decorated entries.

🎉 Parade & Winner Announcements

* Once judging is complete, all boats will travel together from Sunset Cove to Thompsons as one parade.
* Winner announcements will take place at 5:00 PM at Thompsons.

⚓ Safety First

* Please obey all boating regulations and maintain a safe distance from other boats.
* Be courteous to fellow boaters and spectators.
* Wear life jackets and ensure everyone on board is safe throughout the event.
