As per discussion at the 2025 AGM, the Morell MHA Financial Statements for the 2023-2024 and 2024-2025 seasons and the 2025 AGM Minutes can be accessed at http://morellmustangs.ca/page.php?page_id=45550.

Posting of these documents fulfils the outgoing Board's final commitment made in service to players of Morell MHA, who were always the Board’s focus. Of all our accomplishments, the outgoing Board is most proud of being able to increase the number of teams playing in Morell MHA from 5 to 9 teams and grow enrolment numbers by 20%. To keep hockey affordable and accessible, we introduced half-price goalie registration, bought half-boards, goalie equipment and new rebranded uniforms, and offered free development and training to our members.

President Kelly completed the maximum allowable four-year term and the majority of the Board was not interested in serving under a different leadership. The outgoing Board is leaving Morell MHA in a financially healthy position on a trajectory of growth and hopes that Morell MHA will continue to thrive. For the sake of the players and team staff of Morell MHA, we wish the new Board nothing but success.

Morell MHA was unaware that the date of a concert at one of the schools within our boundaries conflicted with the original date of our AGM. Maximizing attendance at our AGMs has always been a priority for Morell MHA. For this reason, the AGM is rescheduled to Thursday, May 29, at 7:30 pm at the Morell Fire Hall. A friendly reminder that expressions of interest to serve as a director communicated to the President at [email protected] in advance of the meeting would be appreciated. Formal nominations of individuals seeking to serve as directors will occur at the meeting.

MMHA AGM will be held on May 22, at 7:30pm at the Morell Fire Hall. MMHA Board is accepting nominations for director positions until May 15. Those interested, please email [email protected], indicating your name, reasons for volunteering and relevant volunteer and professional experience.

Thank you to all who made our end-of-season Come Try Female Hockey event a success - Mustangs coaches Steve Coffin, Nick Policelli and Jonathan Dunn; volunteers - Emma Sheppard, and Eastern Stars coach Jenna and players Avery, Bella and Emily. Big thank you also to the rink staff and volunteers for your support.

Thank you to all who made today’s coed clinics a success - Mustangs coaches Rodney Whitty, Evan Myers and Matt Bradley; Morell Lions Junior C volunteers - Tyson McGrath, Thomas MacEachern, Mason Power, Rowan Walker, Ryan Steadman, Dallas Campbell and GM Jeff McGrath; and Mustangs manager Andrea Bright.

Good luck to Morell Lions Junior C team in their quest to bring home a title. The second round of playoffs starts tonight against the Pownal Ice Dogs in a best out of 5 series! Puck drops this evening at 8 pm at the Pownal Sports Arena.

Big thank you also to the rink staff and volunteers for your support. Ronnie's ice was perfect as always, and the smell of cookies and fries from the canteen was enticing for sure!

Last but not least congratulations to the winners of Morell Mustangs hoodies - Xavier Deagle and Aiden Handrahan! Thank you to all who registered for today’s clinics.

We are looking forward to hosting our next clinic open to all girls under 12 - those who play and who have never played before, on Wednesday, March 19 at 6:10pm and 7:20pm.
