Strengthening MEAL capacity means strengthening the impact of civil society organizations.
We are glad to share an important milestone from our Training Partner Bodossaki Foundation and its initiative, which recently welcomed the first 35 professionals participating in the internationally recognized MEAL DPro certification process.

This training initiative was made possible through the translation of the MEAL DPro Guide and exam into Greek, an important contribution led by Bodossaki Foundation to expand access to professional development opportunities for Greek-speaking practitioners.

The program represents another important step toward strengthening monitoring, evaluation, accountability, and learning practices across the sector.

We are grateful to Bodossaki Foundation, Social Dynamo, and the trainers involved for their continued commitment to strengthening civil society through learning, collaboration, and shared knowledge.

Projects become stronger when people speak the same language. Across countries, organizations, and sectors, collaboration becomes easier when teams share common frameworks, tools, and expectations.

That is one of the strengths of the DPro methodologies.

Project management is not only about learning new tools. It is about applying them in real projects, with real teams, and real challenges.

We would love to hear from our global DPro community: Which DPro tool do you use most in your day-to-day work?
Is it the Logframe?
The Risk Register?
A Theory of Change?
A Stakeholder Analysis?
Or another tool that helps you deliver stronger results?

Share your experience in the comments. Your insights may help another professional facing similar challenges.

Strong partnerships create stronger impact. Today, we want to highlight Bodossaki Foundation and its award-winning initiative, Social Dynamo, a valued PM4NGOs Training Partner that continues to strengthen civil society through learning, professional development, and collaboration.

Over the past years, Bodossaki Foundation has not only delivered high-quality DPro trainings in Greece, but has also contributed to expanding access to PM4NGOs methodologies through guide and exam translations, helping more professionals learn and certify in their own language.

We are grateful for this partnership and for their continued commitment to strengthening project management across the development sector.

The good news? Risk management does not need to be complicated. It needs to be consistent.

Based on Project DPro best practices, here are practical ways to identify and manage risks before they become bigger problems.

Collecting data is not the goal. Making better decisions is.
Strong monitoring systems do more than track activities. They help teams understand what is changing, why it matters, and what needs to happen next.

In the MEAL DPro Guide, monitoring is designed to support learning, adaptation, and better decision-making throughout the project cycle.

Swipe through to explore how monitoring data can become a practical management tool.

Artificial Intelligence is becoming part of how organizations learn, communicate, and improve decision-making. Today, we are glad to share a valuable resource in Portuguese developed by Canal SabIAr, one of PM4NGOs’ partners.

Acesse gratuitamente: https://conjunta.org/conteudo/uso-pratico-da-ia-no-campo-social/

Em breve, uma versão em inglês também estará disponível, e teremos prazer em compartilhá-la com a nossa comunidade global.

Project management can help strengthen institutions, support recovery, and create the conditions for long-term impact.

In Syria, a specialized Project DPro training was recently delivered for the National Commission for Transitional Justice (NCTJ), bringing together 20 newly recruited professionals who will support project implementation across 14 governorates.

Led by Obidah AlSayed Ali, PM4NGOs Champion in Syria, this initiative focused on building practical skills in project design, planning, and implementation aligned with institutional priorities. Several participants have already completed their certification, with more progressing through the process.

Watch the video to see how Project DPro is helping strengthen local capacity and supporting meaningful change in practice.
