Strong organizations are built through knowledge, exchange, and continuous learning. On September 24, PM4NGOs joined hundreds of professionals at the Encontro do Terceiro Setor 2026, organized by Fundação Dom Cabral in Nova Lima, Brazil.

With Institutional Development at the center of the 2026 edition, the event brought together leaders, managers, executives, and specialists from the social sector to exchange experiences and discuss management, governance, sustainability, leadership, technology, and the challenges facing civil society organizations.

Cecília, PM4NGOs’ Marketing and Communications Manager, represented PM4NGOs at the event, connecting with professionals from across the sector and meeting several members of the DPro community.

These spaces matter. They create opportunities to learn from different experiences, strengthen professional connections, and keep practical knowledge moving across the social impact sector.

A new chapter for project management in Francophone West Africa: On September 12, PM4NGOs officially launched the Côte d’Ivoire Hub in Abidjan, bringing together more than 500 participants.

Led locally by our Training Partner BIFA Institute, the Hub creates a space for professionals, organizations, and institutions to connect, share knowledge, and strengthen project management practices across the region.

A special thank you to Fidèle ADJOUMANI, Esdras GNAMBA, and the entire organizing team for their leadership, dedication, and commitment to making this milestone possible.

We look forward to seeing the Côte d’Ivoire Hub grow as a community of practice.

Before a project moves into implementation, Project DPro encourages teams to build a clear foundation: understand the project logic, engage stakeholders, assess resources and risks, and establish indicators that will help track progress.

A project can have a meaningful purpose and a committed team. But turning that purpose into results requires intentional project management.

Project DPro approaches planning as a participatory, comprehensive, and iterative process. It is not simply about creating a plan and putting it aside. Plans and project processes need to be reviewed, updated, and justified as the project evolves.

Good planning creates space for teams to anticipate challenges, make informed decisions, and adapt when needed.

What happens when professional learning changes the way you see your own role?
