Last year we, along with the Earth League and , gathered climate researchers from around the world to produce the latest edition of the 10 New Insights in Climate Science. Released annually, the report distills the latest research into 10 critical takeaways for policymakers.

Insights from the 2024/2025 edition cover a range of urgent issues, from rising methane emissions and extreme heat to risks facing critical infrastructure and the importance of climate justice.

But to drive change, science alone isn’t enough. How we communicate data and research matters, too. That’s where art can come in.

For this edition we teamed up with to create hand-drawn illustrations for each insight. As a climate communicator, she specializes in making complex topics more accessible, engaging, and actionable for a broader audience.

Future Earth has chosen the Julie Ann Wrigley Global Futures Laboratory at Arizona State University (ASU) to host its Global Coordination Hub. This strategic partnership aims to bolster Future Earth's mission to advance research in support of transformations toward global sustainability.

The Global Coordination Hub will function as the coordinating body of Future Earth's secretariat.
