It’s not decorative. It’s traceability, if there’s ever an issue with a production run, that number is how we know exactly which batch to pull and which one is fine. No guessing, no blanket recall.

When Coca-Cola came under MK, we picked 613.

613 is the number of mitzvot in the Torah. The thinking was simple: it’s on one of the most recognized products in the world, so people are going to see it. A number quietly doing that all day is a kiddush Hashem, making G-d’s name known through something ordinary.

The 613 commandments that shape a Jewish life. A number that small, doing that much work, every time someone reaches for a bottle.

MK Kosher is deeply saddened by the devastating fire that destroyed Noam. Our thoughts are with the owners, their staff, and the many loyal customers who have made Noam such an important part of the community over the years.

We stand in full solidarity with everyone affected by this tragic loss and hope the business is able to rebuild as quickly as possible.

While police have confirmed that the fire was the result of arson, it is important not to jump to conclusions about the motive before the investigation is complete. Speculation helps no one, and the facts must be allowed to guide the investigation.

We have every confidence that law enforcement will identify those responsible, and we look forward to seeing the perpetrators brought before the courts and facing the full force of the law. Anyone who deliberately targets a business and puts lives and livelihoods at risk must be held fully accountable.

The entire kosher community stands with Noam during this difficult time.

Not the same answer for both.

Frozen fruit like mango, pineapple or peaches, anything that doesn’t come with a bug concern, doesn’t need a hechsher.

Fruit that does have a bug concern, like berries, strawberries or raspberries, can be used without one as long as it’s pureed.

Frozen vegetables need certification. Always.
