✨Thank you Inukjuak! ✨

From August 20 to 25, Tasiutigiit Association had the honour of bringing 14 bright and resilient Inuit children and youth to Inukjuak for an inspiring cultural visit, in collaboration with ᓄᓇᕕᒻᒥ ᐃᓚᒌᑦ ᐸᐸᑕᐅᕕᖓ Nunavimmi Ilagiit Papatauvinga, Sarah Samisack. For some, it was their very first time in Nunavik; for others, it was a meaningful opportunity to reconnect with cherished family roots.

These moments truly matter. We believe that every Inuk child has the right to access their traditional territory, their vibrant culture, and their strong community. Experiences like this nurture and strengthen Inuit identity, creating lasting memories filled with pride, belonging, and connection. We hope that these seeds of cultural connection will flourish throughout their lives, inspiring them to return North one day, confident and proud of who they are and where they come from.

A heartfelt thank you to the welcoming community of Inukjuak and to our wonderful partners — ᓄᓇᕕᒻᒥ ᐃᓚᒌᑦ ᐸᐸᑕᐅᕕᖓ Nunavimmi Ilagiit Papatauvinga, Air Inuit, Inukrock, Saqijuq, and Sirivik— whose generous support made this unforgettable trip possible.
