Happy Thanksgiving! 🍂 This weekend, as all Canadians celebrate and reflect on gratitude we remember many years of family celebrations and our Jackie, who had a way of making every gathering feel special.
Gratitude was something she lived fully, continuously letting people around her know how much they mean to her. This Thanksgiving, we hope you'll do the same.

On this World Mental Health Day, we pause to reflect on how far we've come and how much further we need to go. Mental anguish in all its forms deserves to be treated with the same respect as physical injury. Let's learn from Jackie how to keep having difficult conversations, openly, with hope and compassion, without judgment. 💚

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. We feel for and support every person and every family struggling with this difficult reality. Supporting cancer care is one of our deepest commitments for Jackie, and for all those who follow.

Shanah Tovah! 🍎🍯 Jackie loved this time of year. The gathering of family, the rituals, the food and the hope that a new year carries with it. Always the hope for better. We honour her by embracing that same spirit of renewal, hope and gratitude.

As we welcome the Jewish New Year, we reflect on the gift of each new beginning and the people who give our lives meaning.

We wish you and all of Am Israel everywhere good health, moments of unexpected joy, meaningful times and safe and peaceful new year.

September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. Our Foundation has been proud to stand alongside Leucan in their extraordinary work supporting children with cancer and their families across Quebec. This partnership is one we hold close to our hearts, rooted in Jackie's own experience and our deep belief that no family should face childhood cancer alone.

Today on the International Day of Remembrance and Tribute to Victims of Terrorism, we stand in solidarity with the survivors of violence and affirm their right for safety and dignity. The effects of terrorism do not end with the act of terror but continue to impact the victims, their families and communities forever after. At Jackie’s foundation we remember those whose lives have been forever changed by violence. We believe that terror must not be supported or rewarded in any way and hope for a safe world for all to thrive in peace 🕊️

On International Youth Day, we celebrate the next generation of changemakers. Your energy, your compassion, and your voices matter more than you know. 🌟

Invisible disabilities, like an illness that has no overt signs, create unique challenges difficult to navigate. Most of Jackie’s greatest health battles were due to invisible, debilitating conditions yet she faced them with grace, courage and determination.
This month we support all those navigating invisible conditions. You are braver than you know!

July is Bereaved Parents Awareness Month, a time to acknowledge life's most profound and enduring loss, that of a loved child.
For these bereaved parents grief becomes part of life, woven into every ordinary moment and every missed milestone that follows. It changes everything! Divides the world into “before” and “after” with sorrow that shadows every smile or happy moment moving forward.
Jackie’s Foundation is our attempt to carry Jackie with us in everything we do. She lives through the causes we support, the kindness we try to extend, and is an integral part of the community we are so grateful to have around us.
If you know a bereaved parent, speak their child’s name today. Speak their name out loud. Let their parents know that their child is alive for you, carried in your heart 💕
