When Mary LeRossignol became one of the first women to attend McGill in 1889, she could never have imagined the legacy she was beginning.

More than 135 years later, her great great granddaughter, Thea, is preparing to join McGill's Faculty of Arts, becoming the fifth woman in her family to do so. From pioneering women in law to librarians, historians, and public servants, their story is a beautiful reminder of the lasting impact of education across generations.
