Did you know that at the start of the year, our cohort went out to the streets to ask YOU what was the biggest barrier to civic engagement?

You replied: "Lack of knowledge on HOW, WHEN and WHERE to get engaged in the community"

Last week, we connected you with amazing community organizations and spaces in the Halifax Regional Municipality... and we encourage you to look for more opportunities out there, soooooo many organizations need a helping hand 😉

This week, we are encouraging you to learn about democracy beyond the ballot box! Democracy is way more than just voting, it's just one tool, not the whole toolbox 😌

THIS WEEK ONLY as part of our Halifax Community Crawl (April 13-18), YOU can enjoy 15% off retail purchases and try out special drinks at The Board Room Game Cafe by participating in our Crawl.

How to do it? Bring some friends, play some games and pick up a stamp card

Then during the week, collect stamps at our other events pinned at the top of our profile, mingle, make new friends and have fun!
