From Edna: “Hello, Edna here. Kris has asked if we can write you a little summary of our time at the shelter.
So, when me and my friends were on holiday in Greece, I had the wish to do something. Like doing something with dogs or helping them because we had heard about the stray dog situation there.
So I found Kris’ dog welfare organisation and sent them an email. They were super friendly and really nice and Kris even picked us up and drove us to the shelter.
The shelter looks very cosy and you can tell that the people there love the dogs, every single dog. First they introduced us to the dogs and then we were allowed to take them for a walk.
A few days later we were back at the shelter and it was really nice to see that some of the dogs remembered us and came closer or were less sceptical than last time. Each dog has their own story and they are great and such gentle and friendly souls. I hope to see them again and I have great respect for Kris and her team who really dedicate themselves to the dogs with love and a lot of work and do a very important job.
