✨Keila Miranda is running the GoodHeart study, looking at correlations between minority stress in gender diverse individuals and cardiovascular health.

✨Marie Delahousse is conducting a study on how gender diverse individuals are represented in research surveys.

Looking to join Q***r Engineer (a.k.a. a super awesome club 🌈) in a lower-commitment way? You’re in luck: we are hiring coordinator positions!
👀We are looking for an outreach coordinator and a social media coordinator (minimum time commitment for both positions is 1-2 hours per week).

📞Have a knack for email writing? As our outreach coord, you will be responsible for connecting Q***r Engineer with external organizations outside of McGill to conduct community and professional outreach.

📱Have a dream of becoming an influencer? As our social media coord, you will be responsible for creating online content to promote Q***r Engineer and the club’s initiatives by creating short-form media (e.g. reels, TikToks, etc.) and posts.

⭐ Conference recap post! ⭐ Last month, our executive team at Q***r Engineer had the opportunity to attend the 2026 National EngiQ***rs Conference in Vancouver! 🌈

This conference gave us the opportunity to engage with q***r professionals and students from across Canada, share our perspectives, and bring back key takeaways on how to uplift and empower q***r voices in STEM fields. We learned about Pride as Resistance, how to enable inclusive and accessible spaces in engineering, and made invaluable connections along the way. 💗

We want to thank the EngiQ***rs staff and conference organizing committee for this truly transformative experience, alongside the McGill Student Initiatives Fund, who graciously provided us with the means to attend this conference ❤️🌈

Join Q***r Engineer on March 19th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM in Engine (FDA 5) for our first networking event since 2023! We're excited to invite all q***r engineering students and allies for a night of meaningful connections, conversations and professional development. 🌈

We'll kick off the evening with a panel on exploring authenticity in the engineering workplace, followed by round table discussions with q***r industry representatives, and finally, open networking with everyone in attendance.

⭐ Dinner and beverages will be provided.
⭐The dress code will be business casual (relaxed).
