Q***r Engineer is hosting a Ceramic Café Paint Night and you’re invited! Come spend an evening painting pre-made ceramics — think flower pots, mugs, and more — while hanging out with a warm and welcoming crowd.

Q***r Engineer will cover your studio time — all you need to bring is a little cash for your ceramic of choice. Ceramics range in price ($12-20), so there’s something for every budget! 🏺

⭐ Conference recap post! ⭐ Last month, our executive team at Q***r Engineer had the opportunity to attend the 2026 National EngiQ***rs Conference in Vancouver! 🌈

This conference gave us the opportunity to engage with q***r professionals and students from across Canada, share our perspectives, and bring back key takeaways on how to uplift and empower q***r voices in STEM fields. We learned about Pride as Resistance, how to enable inclusive and accessible spaces in engineering, and made invaluable connections along the way. 💗

We want to thank the EngiQ***rs staff and conference organizing committee for this truly transformative experience, alongside the McGill Student Initiatives Fund, who graciously provided us with the means to attend this conference ❤️🌈

Join Q***r Engineer on March 19th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM in Engine (FDA 5) for our first networking event since 2023! We're excited to invite all q***r engineering students and allies for a night of meaningful connections, conversations and professional development. 🌈

We'll kick off the evening with a panel on exploring authenticity in the engineering workplace, followed by round table discussions with q***r industry representatives, and finally, open networking with everyone in attendance.

⭐ Dinner and beverages will be provided.
⭐The dress code will be business casual (relaxed).
⭐ Information on panelists and industry representatives is soon to come!

Crushed by the weight of midterms season and looking for a way to relax? What better way to unwind than to channel your inner Van Gogh! ⭐ 🎨 Join Q***r Engineer on Wednesday Feb 25th in the EUS Games Room for our Paint and Sip Night 🌈. Drinks (mocktails) and samosas will be served! 🍸

💕 We also wanted to take the opportunity to remind everyone that February 25th is Pink Shirt Day, which represents the international movement against all anti-2SLGBTQIA+ bullying, homophobia and transphobia in schools and workplaces. We encourage all to wear pink in solidarity. 💕

What’s this? Another Q***r Eng event so soon? 🌈 That’s right– join us Thursday, December 4th, from 2-4pm in the EUS Common Room for one last lock-in session before finals become real 😬. And that’s not all– enjoy FREE select beverages (hot chocolate, chai, london fog) served by your favourite q***r baristas! ☕ Also, shoutout Sabrina, Lucy’s espresso machine (she’s got that me espresso).
