It is with the deepest regret that we inform you of the death of longtime member and two-time president of our club, Frances (Fran) Grondin, earlier this week, following a long illness. Fran was, at various points of her well-lived life, a nurse, wife, mother, pilot, expert knitter, and lawyer, among other things. Those of us who had the opportunity to hear her presentation of her life story were in awe of the many things she undertook and excelled at.
During her 20+ years with Probus, Fran served in numerous management positions, including two terms as president, was inducted as a Life Member, and received a Citation Award for her significant contributions to the club and the organization. Those who attended the annual Christmas luncheon know well her abilities as an organizer in getting everyone their meals quickly and efficiently.
Fran, you will be dearly missed by your many friends and the Women's PROBUS Club of SENB. Our deepest sympathies to her family & friends.

Did anyone at the Christmas luncheon happen to capture photos of the ladies leading the sing-along by any chance? Or does anyone have any photos from the event to share that we can post on this page? I have some, and Jo-anne has sent me some, but I'd like to post more if anyone has any. Let me know, please & thank you.
