WGS-Action Group Turn your passion into action! In short, we, the WGS-AG, seek to turn our passion into action!

Our (wo)mandate clearly defines our identity:

Since 2007, it has been the ambition of the WGS-AG to:

1) raise awareness of issues of gender, race, class, health, sexuality, environment, social, and political issues,
2) promote the women and gender studies program to fellow students at UTM, and
3) provide a welcoming, supportive and educational environment for its members to grow personally, s

ocially and academically. Our vision is to support and collaborate with local women’s activist groups, and utilize our agency, as feminists of UTM, to aid in methods of social reform. We encourage social development through the coordination of fundraisers, the promotion of social justice issue awareness, the organization of social events, and the facilitation of networking students within the local feminist community.
