Sadly, the Youth Open Stage Association Christmas party is cancelled due to a power outage. The party will be moved to the first class of the New Year as a New Year's Party along with a very special presentation from a professional guest voice actor all the way from New Zealand, Daniel Denova! He has acted in multiple projects world wide, such as the video game Path Of Exile and the movies Dune II and Lord Of The Rings War of the Rohirim! It's going to be a wonderful event and we hope to see you there!

The excitement is building!!! This year's Youth Open Stage Association performance at the Mission Folk Music Festival takes place in Saturday July 26 on the Market Stage at 11 am to 11:45 am! This year we have several students performing, including one alumni from previous years. What is most exciting is we have several students and mentors performing a true group collaboration original song written entirely in class! Rehearsals are well under way and we are super excited about this year's performances!

Additionally, our instructors MarKaren Music are playing a full one hour set of their original music on Sunday July 27 at 3:50 to 4:50 on the Market Stage for you to kick off your shoes and dance to! So many reasons to make sure you all get your passes and attend this year's Mission Folk Music Festival happening at Heritage Park in Mission July 25 through 27! Apparently the pamphlet had an incorrect date of Feb. 10 for classes. Our next night was supposed to be Feb. 17 but as that is a Stat holoday and the center is closed, we have been bumped to Feb. 24. We will have two classes in a row, Feb. 24 then March 3, then back to our regularly scheduled programming. We apologize for any inconvenience caused. See you Feb. 24.
