The Care Package Project We are Katherine Murphy, Iris Burton and Hannah Durelle and are students from James M. Hill Memorial high school.

The Care Package Project raises money for and puts together care packages for struggling new mothers and their babies.

Earlier this month we delivered our packages to the Miramichi and Fredericton maternity wards. We were able to deliver 8 packages to each hospital with a total of 16 packages. Tonight we will be presenting our project at our exhibition night. This will take place at James M Hill Memorial High School from 6-8 pm if you would like to stop by and see what we have done first hand. A big thanks to everyone who contributed to this project!

We had a great day selling tickets on all of our raffles today! We will be doing the draw on December 4th so make sure to get your tickets, $2 for 1 and $5 for 3. You can enter for 175$ worth of gift cards, a crochet cardigan or some crochet toys! Additionally, if you would like to contribute to our cause we are accepting sealed item donations of baby products, any little bit helps!

We are doing another fundraiser! On December second we will be at Walmart in the evening selling tickets on a gift card basket worth $175! There will be a 50$ Amazon card, a 50$ shopper’s card , a 25$ Tim’s card, 25$ Dollarama card, and a 25$ multi use card. Tickets are $2 for one and $5 for three. The care package project is back and looking for donations, if anyone would like to donate any items towards making care packages for new mothers in need please message us.

We are looking for
-diapers
-baby wipes
Any clothing such as:
- baby socks, onesies, pjs, booties and blankets
- baby soap and shampoo
- hooded towels and washcloths
- baby lotian
- bibs, burp cloths and bottles
- baby nail clippers
- baby hairbrush
- teething toys

We ask that all donations have tags and if possible sealed packaging.

We would also appreciate monetary donations.

Every little bit helps these mothers in need and we appreciate everything and anything you have to offer!

The Care Package Project is back and once again raising money/ collecting donations to create care packages for new mothers in need. This upcoming Friday; November 7th, we will be doing a bottle drive around riverside drive in Chatham. If you don’t live in this area but have some bottles you would like to donate, please let us know!
