Join our friendly and fun ladies Monday nights for a no fee, drop in group ride where all levels are welcome!

A great way to challenge your fitness, build riding confidence while enjoying the beautiful Squirrel Hills Trail Park.

What an amazing day at the 🐿️ Squirrel Chaser MTB Race 2026! ☀️🚵

A huge THANK YOU to all the racers, volunteers, Commissionaires, sponsors, and supporters who made today such a success. We had beautiful sunny weather, awesome trail conditions, great food, and incredible effort from everyone on the course!

Special thanks to local potter Jeff Bettle for creating the fantastic squirrel medals 🏅, to Ryan for keeping the energy high as our DJ and announcer 🎤, to Paul who worked like a squirrel getting the course ready 🐿️, Stream N Wood for tech support, Scott G our photographer and to the 291 Drum Group for starting the day in such a powerful and positive way 🥁

A big thank you as well to Manitoba Cycling Association and special thanks to Manitoba Liquor & Lotteries for their support of this event and the mountain biking community.

🐿️ The Squirrel Chaser MTB Race is TOMORROW!!!
SEE the SCHEDULE BELOW🐿️

Our trail squirrels are busy today getting the course fully marked and race-ready! The trails are a little tacky right now, so we recommend staying off them today to keep conditions prime for race day. Tomorrow should be awesome! 👌

It's the final countdown 🎶 (you're welcome!) to Squirrel Chaser 2026 and the Provincial MTB Championships! 🐿️

Racing happens this Sunday at the Squirrel Hills Trail Park, with online registration closing TONIGHT at 11pm sharp.

If categories still have room, we may accept some race day registrations — but don’t count on it.

Head to Zone4.ca, search “Squirrel Chaser,” and secure your spot now. Let's goooooooo!

We see you. Mountain Bikers of Manitoba. And so, for this year, Squirrel Chaser online registration has been EXTENDED to Friday at 11pm. ⏰

Yes, we may allow race day registration…
…but only if categories still have space available.

Best bet? Lock in your spot now and skip the stress.

All abilities are welcome to come and enjoy the excitement of MTB racing in Manitoba!

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!

Provincial mountain bike championships are being held at the Squirrel Hills in Minnedosa on Sunday May 24th!!!!!!

🚗 Parking Volunteers (2 people)
Help direct vehicles at the entrance and parking areas.
🕢 Time: 7:30 AM – 9:30 AM

🚩 Course Marshals (3–4 people)
Assist riders at key trail intersections and help keep racers safely on course.
Captain: Paul Archbutt
🕢 Time: Arrive at 7:30 AM for radio and course Marshal duties. Then chill till the race waves start. Food will be delivered to your station

🌭 BBQ Team (4 volunteers needed- 2-3 hour shifts )
Help with cooking and serving food during the event.
Captain: Shawna Brown
🕥 Time: Arrive at 10:30 AM or 1PM
