Milverton Women's Initiative Committee

Milverton Women's Initiative Committee We fundraise for a scholarship at Milverton Public School that recognizes outstanding literacy and leadership skills in graduating students

To date, we have proudly awarded 48 scholarships worth $25,500 to deserving students. The recipients are selected by the school staff based on their representation of the qualities of Helen Barker, a local writer who passed away in 2005. As well, our event has provided an evening of entertainment and celebration of women to over 3,969 guests. Over the past twelve years, we have invested over $133,

660 back into local businesses by hosting this event in our community using the products and services of our local suppliers. For those that wish to make a donation directly to the Helen Barker Scholarship Fund for a tax-receipt please send your cheque to;

It’s been one month since our Women’s Night 🤍✨
One month since we:

• Hosted 240 incredible guests
• Celebrated 5 inspiring Women to Watch
• Sang along with an amazing performance by .leduc
• Enjoyed an authentic country-style meal
• And line danced the night away 💃🤠

What a night of community, connection, and celebrating amazing women. We’re still smiling about it all 💕
