Help Us Showcase the World Within Milton!

Milton is home to people with roots in so many parts of the world—and this Culture Days, Arts Milton would love to celebrate the traditions, stories and creativity that make our community so special.

On Saturday, September 19, we’re inviting local residents and community organizations to host a cultural showcase table. You could feature traditional clothing, art, music, games, meaningful objects, photographs, celebrations or other fun elements that offer visitors a glimpse into a culture that is important to you.

If you can include a small interactive activity—something visitors can try, make, learn or play—that would be even more wonderful!

You do not need to represent an organization. Individuals, families and groups of friends are equally welcome to come together and showcase their cultural roots. Milton is our shared home; this is an opportunity to discover and celebrate the many cultures that live within it.

We already have India and China represented, and we’re hoping Nigeria will join us too—but we would love to welcome many more!

Tomorrow night, Summer Days / Summer Nights 2026 comes to a close — and we’re ending the season with a very special performance!

Arts Milton is thrilled to welcome Abbey Road Bomb Shelter for our FINAL concerts of the summer!

Fresh from performances at the Montreal Fringe Festival and Guelph Fringe Festival, they’re bringing their show to Milton — and you can experience it completely FREE!

We’re excited to be trying something a little new this year as part of the Summer Days Summer Nights Concert Series!

On Wednesday, August 13th from 6:00–7:00 PM, we’ll be featuring a special neighbourhood pop-up performance by Guti Music

We are currently looking for a Spanish-speaking family in the community who would be interested in hosting this unique driveway concert. Our goal is to create a more meaningful and connected experience where the music can truly resonate with the audience.

About the artist:
Guti is a Colombian musician with many years of experience in the music industry. He participated in the Colombian television show La Voz Colombia and has shared the stage with renowned artists across Latin America. Now based in Canada, he brings a vibrant Tropipop fusion sound to new audiences—combining energetic rhythms, heartfelt lyrics, and inspiring life stories that connect deeply with the Latin community and music lovers alike.

If you are a Spanish-speaking family and would be open to hosting this special community performance on your driveway, we would love to hear from you! (At no cost to you!)
